Description

Discover the Healing Power of Nativus Farms A2 Vedic Bilona Cow Ghee

Experience the purest essence of traditional wellness with Nativus Farms A2 Vedic Bilona Cow Ghee. Specifically, we craft our ghee using the ancient “Bilona” method, a sacred Ayurvedic process that preserves the vital nutrients often lost in industrial production. Consequently, every golden drop offers more than just flavor; it provides a holistic path to health. We source our milk exclusively from indigenous cow breeds like the Gir. These cows graze freely in the lush forest zones of Mangalore, where they feast on natural medicinal herbs and diverse flora. Furthermore, this natural diet ensures that the milk is rich in A2 beta-casein proteins, which are significantly easier for the human body to digest compared to commercial A1 milk.

The Sacred Vedic Journey

The journey of our ghee begins at sunrise. Firstly, we slow-boil the raw milk over traditional cow dung cakes to maintain a gentle, consistent heat. We then inoculate the milk with a starter culture to transform it into thick, creamy curd overnight. Subsequently, our artisans use a wooden churner (Bilona) to bi-directionally churn the curd, effectively separating the probiotic-rich butter (Makkhan). Finally, we simmer this hand-churned butter on a mild flame until it clarifies into aromatic, grainy ghee. This labor-intensive process ensures that the fat-soluble vitamins—namely A, D, E, and K—remain intact.

Why Choose Our A2 Bilona Ghee?

Sustainably Sourced: We actively support local Goshalas and promote indigenous cow breeds. Consequently, your purchase empowers small farmers and tribal communities in rural areas.
Superior Digestion: The presence of butyric acid helps nourish the intestinal walls. Specifically, it stimulates stomach acid secretion to improve overall gut health.
Immunity & Vitality: Rich in antioxidants, our ghee helps neutralize free radicals. Moreover, it serves as a “Rasayana” in Ayurveda, rejuvenating the body’s tissues.
Premium Packaging: We pack our ghee in high-quality glass jars. This choice prevents chemical leaching and maintains the purity and shelf-life of the product.
High Smoke Point: With a smoke point of approximately 450°F, it is ideal for sautéing and deep-frying without releasing toxic fumes.
