Our Story: Cultivating a Greener Tomorrow at Nativus Farms

Our Roots: The Nativus Farms Commitment

The Birth of Nativus Farms

Nativus Farms began with a clear goal: to fight the harmful effects of synthetic fertilizers and pesticides. Therefore, we committed ourselves to a regenerative path. We focused on turning urban plots into food sanctuaries. Furthermore, this hands-on experience strengthened our dedication to Subhash Palekar Natural Farming.

Our Network of Trust

Our farm store is a vital hub that directly connects customers with a carefully vetted network of trusted partners. Indeed, this network includes dedicated local organic farmers, resilient tribal growers, and empowering women-led self-help groups. Thus, every product you purchase actively strengthens the local economy and validates environmentally sound practices. We rigorously ensure that each item we feature is eco-friendly and unequivocally chemical-free, promoting true Organic Sustainable Living.

We curate a comprehensive range of native goods. Our storefront proudly features authentic indigenous produce, wholesome healthy snacks, traditional homemade pickles, purifying Gomaya products, and restorative Panchagavya items. In addition, we promote practical home composting solutions for kitchen waste and offer a selection of mindful, eco-conscious lifestyle items. We champion the core principle of sustainability by actively promoting the 3R concept—Reduce, Reuse, Recycle—and actively building awareness around composting and waste reduction within our community.

Conserving India’s Indigenous Heritage

Our commitment extends profoundly to the conservation of indigenous cow breeds. Therefore, we actively advance sustainable agriculture practices in both urban and rural communities, securing the future of Organic Sustainable Living. Specifically, Nativus Farms maintains a strong association with the NGO, wegopals (Gopals Charitable Trust). Through this partnership, we diligently work to support small farmers and Goshala’s dedicated to preserving native cow breeds. Consequently, we promote their exceptional products, directly enabling them to achieve economic sustainability. We share crucial knowledge and technology—particularly in crafting Gomaya and Panchagavya products—and vigorously build market access for these artisans and farmers, ensuring they thrive sustainably. Clearly, we champion Organic Sustainable Living for all.

Founder's Story

Bharath Kumar
Founder

Brand Owner – Nativus Farms

Disseminator – Home Composting

Hyderabad Coordinator – WeGopals

From IT Career to Sustainable Purpose

The vision behind Nativus Farms comes from our founder, Mr. Bharath. Although he earned a Master’s degree in Information Systems and started a career as a software developer, his connection to the land remained his top priority.

Specifically, his life changed when he discovered Natural Farming. Because of this interest, he began researching Subash Palekar Natural Farming (SPNF) and permaculture deeply. Soon, he realized how much damage chemical farming causes to the earth. To address this, he started consulting for urban farms. Eventually, he founded Nativus Farms to provide a reliable market for clean, healthy products.

Championing Change and Community Impact

Mr. Bharath grew increasingly concerned about the pollution of soil and groundwater. Chemical use in agriculture and daily activities caused this damage. Soon after, he began providing crucial consulting services. These services helped transition urban farming spaces toward Organic Sustainable Living models.

Moreover, Mr. Bharath actively educates enthusiasts about the harmful effects of landfills. Landfills pollute groundwater and cause air quality issues. He motivates them to adopt home composting to reduce waste and carbon footprints. Driven by the growing demand from patrons for reliable, clean products, Mr. Bharath founded Nativus Farms in Hyderabad. This natural store serves as a vital market link. It supports farmers practicing natural methods, Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), and women self-help groups.

Ultimately, Mr. Bharath feels a profound responsibility toward nature and social impact. He has associated with WeGopals, a charitable trust dedicated for over a decade to the conservation of indigenous cow breeds. The organization promotes the application of the Desi cow’s benefits toward Organic Sustainable Living. His leadership embodies the core mission of Nativus Farms: fostering health and sustainability from the ground up.
